Background

Religion is a system of firmly held institutional or personal ideas or beliefs that are utilized to “measure up” to our conception of morality. And some people use these ideas or beliefs as a yardstick to label others as unrighteous. Jesus condemned religious leaders in Matthew 23:4  “They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.” [NLT]

If we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are called to a life lived in relationship with God.

First, don’t judge those you think are sinners or who don’t “measure up” to your standards of righteousness. Jesus never did this. He loved prostitutes. He forgave murderers. He invited greedy tax collectors to join Him. He shared food and drink with gluttons and drunkards.

We embrace everyone without any prejudice or constraints to race, color, culture, lifestyle, beliefs etc. We are Unreligious.

Serving is our call. When Jesus Christ came down to us and willingly submitted to death on our behalf, He set the highest standard for service and sacrifice. The same goes for the call to serve others in humility – as seen in Philippians 2:3-8.

Our call to serve is rooted in 1 Peter 4:10-11

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” [NIV]

We serve the needy, the broken hearted and inspire the world with the Gospel of Jesus. We are Servants.

Who we Are

Unreligious Servants are individuals who have volunteered together, in the name of Christ Jesus, to spread His Gospel using the talent He has given to us.

We produce Gospel songs with our collective talents to inspire the world about Jesus and use all monetary proceeds from our works to help the needy.

We are a non-profit ministry.

Our group constitutes creatives such as musicians, artists, poets, photographers and performers of all kinds. We collaborate on projects that encourage others to have a personal relationship with God regardless of whom they are or where they are from.

As Unreligious Servants, we are committed to using our talents to honor God and serve mankind.

Our Vision

We foresee a world where there are no constraints in seeking personal relationship with Jesus; and where the hungry gets fed and naked gets clothed.
